What is the use of "Synchronize" option in ARS Admin User interface in ARS v7.0

Hi there, 
 Does anyone came across, the "Synchronize" User interface option in ARS Admin Web interface in ARS v7.0? 
 
 Check our documentation and Support KB web, unable to find the details on what it does?

If you are browsing with the centre pane, you may find yourself deep in the Active Directory directory tree. Hitting "Synchronize" will expand the directory tree in the left pane and have it show your current location from the centre pane. This button was also in previous versions of the ActiveRoles Server Web Interface, it was simply more discrete.
