One Identity WI edit Search criteria

We are trying to add the samAccountName value to the Search Page on the Web Interface. (the Search option in the left column of the WI)

I don't see any way to edit the settings under Customization, is this a Powershell operation?

(my understanding) ARS WI Search option searches on default pre-defined AD attributes (name, cn, sAMAccountName, userPrincipalName, displayName etc.) the same as ADUC.mmc Search option.

I got this from a support engineer and assumed it was documented someplace. " In order to specifically search for the samAccountName of the user object, it needs to be added to the search criteria." It works in Search box #2 below but not in #1.
