The disk space in Active Roles Server is getting low in storage.

The disk space in Active Roles Server is getting low in storage , we have upgraded to 2TB , but the logs are increasing , below are the logs that is filling up the disk space. Can you please provide us with step by step process to overcome this issue without causing any outage.

  • We recently worked with a MS SQL engineer for a similar issue for our ARS Synchronization DB -
    he called us DBA tourists  - lol

    And JohnnyQ is spot on as usual.  Internal DBA can advise on setting the SQL to the proper recovery model for your scenario.

    There is a solution, but it involves choices - ones that needs to be informed.   

    - Ask a DBA about 'simple recovery' model and transaction log backup
