Overriding automatic sign-in credentials for ARS

Hello,

I'm part of a service desk that's been granted access to our install of ARS.

The issue I'm having:

- ARS isn't prompting me for my admin credentials when I open it. It's simply signing me in with my regular account - which does not have access to any data.

I can get around this by opening ARS in a private browser. It then asks me for credentials and I'm able to enter my admin credentials.

Is there a way to force ARS to ask for credentials when it's opened, so I don't have to use a private window? The private window will stop working throughout the day, so I have to close it and open a new session from time to time. It's very annoying.

Thank you in advance for any insight that can be offered.

  • Hello, the Active Roles site on the web server will need to be set to Basic Authentication. This way, anyone who browses to the site will get a prompt for credentials. Please be sure there is a certificate configured for the site, otherwise the credentials will he sent over the network unencrypted.
