When new users added to shared mailbox using ARS v8 all other users who already have permission are being removed

Good morning, we have a scenario where when using ARS to add users to a shared mailbox the users which already have access to the shared mailbox are being removed ,(somehow) , has anyone else come across this? This has only occurred in the past few weeks, We are running version 8 and within a Hybrid environment

  • When you check the delegation tabs are they blank? We had this for a time as well so we had to use the advanced Email Settings in the edsExoSharedMailbox object instead (you have to search for the display name and if it has been created after November 2022 the result shows a long ID instead of the name because Microsoft).  It was resolved when we updated to 8.1.
