Using SOAP+SPML vs. REST+JSON

Team,

We have a client that currently integrate their IDM system to ARS via SPML interface.

The project team asked if we could move away from this interface and utilize REST+JSON.

Did anyone integrated to ARS like this before?

ARS documentation mentions "Customizable Web Interfaces" could that be our answer?

Thanks!

  • ARS Sync Service (QC). Intermediate HR.CSV file is most robust and flexible feature both: short and long run. As another option non-Windows => Windows
    Consider option: IDM/HR => \\share_protected\HR.CSV => ARS Sync => ARS ADmin Service => AD/Exchange.
    Assumption: 1-way traffic: IDM/DR => AD. AD/ARS does not need to write to non-Windows IDM/HR.
