This groundbreaking product offers a VPN-less solution designed to provide secure, seamless access to your critical resources. The journey from initiation to market release took just nine months, a testament to our team's dedication and efficiency. As we continue to add to Essentials, we wanted to share some exiting new innovations.
The need for PAM Essentials

Traditional VPNs, while effective, often come with limitations such as complex configurations, slower performance and potential security vulnerabilities. PAM Essentials addresses these challenges by offering a secure, streamlined alternative.

Our Secure Gateway is a key feature of PAM Essentials, providing a secure tunnel without the need for a traditional VPN. This enhances security and simplifies the user experience, allowing for quicker, more reliable access to essential resources. From the outset, customer feedback has been central to the development of PAM Essentials. Our Product Management team has maintained open lines of communication with our customers, ensuring their needs and suggestions are integrated into the product development lifecycle. We established multiple feedback channels, including technical support engagements, customer interviews and community forums.
Recently, we introduced Aha!—a powerful tool that enhances our ability to engage with customers and provide visibility into how their feedback shapes our planning and delivery processes. This platform has been instrumental in refining PAM Essentials, ensuring it meets the real-world needs of our users.

- Added item-level audit views for tracking all changes to specific assets/accounts.
- Enhanced Directory Discovery
- Allowed for directory-joined assets and accounts to be added to PAM without manual entry.
- Simplified the process of adding large numbers of directory-joined assets.
- Improved Error Detection and Repair
- Improved error detection and reporting based on early user feedback.
- More clearly identified known environmental issues.
- Guided clients towards appropriate solutions.
- Added context menu for enhanced user interaction.
