One Connect - Password Sync with Oracle and AD - can you give us pointers on how to get this working. Followed the admin guide steps but still having issues.

Oracle and AD connectors setup.  Password sync rule setup.  Sql query in Oracle connector setup but appears to be an issue ... Can you share how you got this working?

 

  • Can you provide more information on what isn't working or how it isn't working? Are you seeing errors or is it that nothing is being sync'd? It may be a incomplete setup or some other problem, but there isn't enough information here to know. If you are seeing errors, then contacting Quest Support may be helpful. If it is incomplete setup, we may just need to determine what is missing. In that case, outlining the significant steps you did complete may help us know if something was missed. A few details about your deployment architecture may help too.
  • Support ticket has been opened and we have not been successful in setting this up.
    We have an Oracle connector and an AD connector. We created a password sync rule and a mapping. We have followed the administrators guide but we are not sure how the fields are being passed and how our sql query should be setup as it does not work like in the diagram. Was asking for someone who has this setup in place to give us some insight on how this is working and how we might fix ours.

  • Our DBA was able to figure out the needed sql query to make this work. We are in business now. The information was shared with support.
