Modify custom component code

Am I able to modify custom component’s code? I can see the code in the Web Designer but can’t modify it? How to do it?

    That view is a preview of what the C# code generator creates. You cannot edit code in that view.

    You will need to edit the definition; and you can add code snippets in the tree structure to write C# code directly.
