How to install Identity Manager in High-Availability on a cluster

Hi team,

I want to install One Identity Manager in HA architecture on a cluster with 2 servers, each one has a Web Portal instance and One Identity Manager installation. In other server it will be installed the DB also on a cluster. I had a look on the Installation guide and there is just 2 pages explaining that 1IM could be installed on a cluster but there is not to much explanation about how it could set up. Is there any guide or post in which it is explained step by step how 1IM is set up to run as a cluster for HA or where is it defined during the installation process?

Thanks in advance!

Regards,

Oscar.

  • Thank you Markus,

It helped me to understand how has to be configured for Web Portal, job services and DB. The question now is what about the 1IM administration tools such as "Manager", "Web Designer", "Designer", "Synchronization Editor", etc. Is it possible to be clustered? How can I set it up? Is there any problem if the some action is done by different administrator on different servers (e.g. an administrator modify an user through "Manager" in server 1 and other administrator delete the same user at the same time through the same tool on server 2)?

    Thanks!
