Integrating with E-Business Suite

Hi Folks,

We are integrating One Identity Manager with Oracle E-business Suite R12, the provided connector needs the Apps password in order to invoke the Database packages but this request was rejected by the customer.

The question, do we have a best practice for this integration, did any of the members tried the E-Business Suite integrated SOA Gateway? i.e. communicating through Web Services? or we just need to follow the template provided by One Identity

Thanks
Hossam

  • Hi Hossam, always good to post your version of One Identity Manager? You should find a SQL script in the binaries to create an oracle dB service account to use with the Identity manager connector.. there's a little more to it sometimes which depends upon configuration in the oracle dB itself but there's known workarounds published on the web...get to that later! First try the sync user creation using the script we provide.
