No container was found in IT Operating data

Hello!

suddenly we got an error on ADSAccount creation (Resource assignement to a Person) saying:

[810222] Error executing script 'VI_CreateAccountForRessource'

[System.Exception] No container was found in IT Operating data in domain <DOMAIN>.The user account cannot be added.

 

Do you have an idea?

    Hi Anton,

    The error means you have not set the container for the account. When you create an account manually you can set one, but using a resource you must specify this using the IT Operating data for an org, for example, or set a default in the config parms.

    What version are you running?

    Hello Trevor and thank you!

    we are running the 6.1.1 version.

    PS: If i'm right, the IT Operating data is defined in Designer, configuration parameter TargetSystem/ADS/ADSContainer/... And we set up the "Default" and the "ITDataForm" values.

    Yes, you can set a default container using TargetSystem\ADS\ADSContainer\Default.

    If you're using TargetSystem\ADS\ADSContainer\ITDataFrom then you need to specify the UID_ADSContainer value in the applicable org, i.e Department (Edit IT Operating data). And this is in the case the ADSAccount is being created using an account resource assigned to the employee.
