One Identity Manager v8 S4 HANA integration performance for userInRole workflow step

Afternoon Community,

We have setup the SAP R/3 connector for integration with S4 HANA. the integration for the most part is working as expected with the exception of the userInRole workflow performance.

User provisioning to S4 generally completes within 1-2 seconds. Provisioning of a role membership however consistently takes 1-2 minutes (as per the synchronization log)

Has anyone come across this and can advise on any hot fixes or optimizations that can be done (either on OneIM or S4 sides)

Environment details: One Identity Manager v8.0 (module versions 8.0.0.36)

UserInRole mapping is OOTB

S4 version 1709

SAP BASIS release: 752

I am getting a SR created for this issue, just wanted to reach out to the community to see if anyone has encountered it or has an idea of the cause.
