One Identity Manager 8.1 ADSAccount proxyAddresses

ProxyAddresses is in the product for ADSAccount but only for 6.x, from my understanding it was later split off to EX0Mailbox. I tested this in my lab for 7.1.4 and it worked with no issues for me. My CCC_ProxyAddresses has the data type of a string with Multi-value set, I have the property mapping rule to sync to Identity Manager only so I could test it.

Did you set the Column type to Text or String in the schema extension? If you set it to string, what did you set the max length to?

Using the schema extension tool I set it to String, I set the max lenght to 4000 as that is the maximum that is allowed

Thanks, changing from Text to String mostly worked. It only synced about 1/3 of the users... no idea yet why it did not do all of them.

Ok I lied. It did not work. The few values I had must have been from some previous attempt. Cleared all, synced again, nothing. Ugh.

Have you tried enabling logging in the sync project?  Maybe there will be some messages in the log file that might help you.

Wish I could post screen shots directly into this forum. Logging is enabled, but it reports nothing helpful. Just the sync time per workflow and "There are no changed objects logged for this synchronization log". No errors. It simply does nothing with the mapping. Very strange, and very frustrating. In the end its always something simple, but I am having no luck figuring this one out. Is there a verbose logging option for sync projects? If so, where do I set that?

You might also want to clear revisions for your sync configuration to prompt it to sync all objects anew.

Ok. Clearing the revisions worked. Now I need some documentation to explain what just happened. What just happened?

Check the docs about revision filters.  In short, the stuff had already sync'd and hasn't changed so OI ignores the objects that haven't changed.

By clearing the revision filters you are telling it to re-sync everything whether it's changed or not.
