chief approval team

Hello Team,

Approvals are getting routed to chief approval team immediately after request submission even though there exists an active approver for decision step.

Am I missing any configuration in workflow? Version 8.1

Please guide

The chief approval team can always act on a pending request regardless if there is a normal approver available. That's why the ootb web portal provides an extra section for the requests decidable for the chief approvers and hides those entries (where the user is only empowered to approve due to his chief approval role) in the normal approval section.
