Multiple application servers with Indexing

Assuming multiple application servers are deployed is it okay that each one runs Search Service and Search Indexing Service?

    Hi Craig,

    At my customer we have an application server hosted on and serving each web server. Each runs it's own Search Service and Search Indexing Service.  We also host a separate application server in it's own VM that is used for access with an app server connection (as opposed to direct DB connection.).

    So yes, you should be fine.
