UCIUser table account def and linking to person identity

For the SCIM connector you should only ever work with the CSM tables (CSMUser etc.).  There you will find UID_Person.  UCI should be considered as for internal use only.

I thought you had to have both. The SCIM connector connects the external SCIM to UCI and UCI connects to CSM and CSM can connect to Person-table.

Yes you have both.  My point was that the table that is linked to Person is CSMUser not UCIUser.

I know this thread is a bit old, but I have a question about linking an employee to a CSMUser that is driving me crazy

In my case this link must be done only by the Universal Cloud Synch project and using the email address as the linking field.

I have tried to create a virtual variable in the mapping of type Script. In it, I have implemented a query to the Person table to get the UID_Person which defaultemailaddress is the same as the CSMUser Email Address.

My problem is that when I run the synch, it gives me an error complaining about Person schema type was not found.

How can I achieve this?

I know that using a template on the field UID_Person of the table CSMUser will do the trick, but I do not why I don’t like it this way :D

If I understood it correctly you just need to pin the Person table in the Schema of the One Identity Manager schema to prevent it from being removed during schema schrink.

I have follow your instructions and when I push the Schrink Schema button (Either in Target System or OIM) I only see "Table revision dates" in the list.

Any idea about what I'm doing wrong

Finally I have managed to pin the table. I just needed to push the Update Schema button and after that and without activating the project I pushed the Schrink Schema and the list was populated with all the tables. Then I could pin the Person table.
