encryption of configuration parameter disabled

Hi All,

I Can not encrypt configuration parameter.

Check box is disabled, do you know why this is disabled.

I chekced in my other OIM instances and I see checkbox in enabled.

OIM version is 8.1.5.

Is it not allowed in 8.1.5?

    In current versions of OneIM, it is not allowed to set the flag if the database itself is not encrypted. It was possible in older versions, but customers identified it as a bug. Behavior has changed in 8.1.4, and 8.2.

    From the 8.1.4 release notes:

    Although the database is not encrypted, the encrypted option can be enabled for custom configuration parameters. (VPR)33089

    Hi Markus,

    Thank you Markus for the updates.

    Do I need to get hotfix from support so that It can be fixed in 8.1.5?

    Or I can wait as we are planning to upgrade OIM to 8.2.
