ApiServer 9.2: Language setting on person not picked-up by api-server

Can you please check the API Server configuration setting for the Web Portal. In the search box in the API Server Administration Portal search for UseProfileCulture. 

Is this settings enabled or disabled?

The setting "Use language from profile settings as interface language" is activated

What about the User interface settings (reachable via the logged-in user menu)? 

Is the toggle enabled for Use profile language?

That did the job!

In my case "de-AT" it doesn't work. It only works when i change the language to "de-DE"

OOTB the IT Shop only supports "en-US" and "de-DE". The language "de-AT" is also not included in the language pack.
The Identity Manager Language Pack contains ITShop translations in these languages: Chinese, Dutch, French, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Spanish (LA), Swedish, and Danish.

For de-AT the system should fallback to use the translations for de-DE, even when the user interface settings do not have a preferred language setting.

Is your browser configured to display pages as de-AT?

For me it worked, when i went to the table "QBMCulture" and changed the property (isForFrontend) of "de-AT" to true.

The fix helped us with edge. We had only English in edge. Now it works with German fine
