Upgrading from Defender 6.2 to 6.5.

I understand that to upgrade you simply run the installer of the latest version on the server where OI Defender is installed. My question is does this upgrade the agent software or Defender Desktop login that is installed on all the client nodes?

    No, this does not upgrade the agents distributed throughout your domain.  The Defender Security Servers will need to be updated by running the installer manually, and the Defender Desktop Login agents can be upgraded by deploying the updated MSI files.  The MSI files are silent installs, so they can be deployed however you normally deploy software (Group Policy, KACE, etc..)
