Checkbox inside a drop-down for custom attributes

Is it possible that I can have several checkboex in a drop-won menu for the custom attributes? (just similart to OrgRoot.DirectAssignmentFlags but it looks there is no a drop-down and uses Int). Thanks!

I am also having the same kind of issue.
Can i change the custom attributes values from drop down list to checkbox list?

Or is it possible to select multiple values from drop downlist of custom attribute?

This is do-able but only with web designer customisation. This doesn't work OOTB
