Edit SPP operating system to add proxy

Hello,

Is there any way to access Safeguard SPP operating system to change network settings in order to add a proxy.

I'm installing fresh appliance but can't license it, as it doesn't have direct access to internet.

I must add a proxy to be directed to internet.

Any suggested solution please ?

Hi Mahmoud,

SPP is a hardened appliances and there is no access to the OS layer.

The two options to activate the Microsoft license on SPP VM currently are:

1. Using a KMS Activation server:
- If validating via KMS:
- Validate the VM has access the KMS server port on TCP/1688
- If specifying KMS server by a DNS name, validate the DNS server specified in the Kiosk is correct
- Validate both the VM and KMS server have the correct time
- Validate that the KMS server can issue licenses for Windows 10 LTSC. The following KB may be needed:
support.microsoft.com/.../august-30-2018-kb4347075-update-to-extend-kms-support-upcoming-enterpr
- Setup new KMS Client Setup Keys: docs.microsoft.com/.../kmsclientkeys

2. Using a MAK key, however, SPP will need access to the internet to activate against Microsoft Activation Servers.
