SSH Host key not correponding

Hi Dario,

There are few ways to populate the SSH Host Key for a linux asset that already exists in SPP of which the below options can be used:

Option A:
-------------
From the Swagger API:
It would be a two step process:
1.  POST /v3/Assets/{id}/DiscoverSshHostKey
2. then followed by PUT /v3/Assets/{id}/SshHostKey

Option B:
-------------
Using the Safeguard PowerShell Module and the following commandlet:

Invoke-SafeguardAssetSshHostKeyDiscovery -Asset {AssetName} -AcceptSshHostKey

ok Tawfiq thanks a lot. 

last doubt: Would I get the same result if I used Discover SSH Key (only once) in the settings menu under SSH Key management? The purpose is just to load in safeguard all SSH keys that are now on the assets but that safeguard doesn't recognise or sees as different.

no sorry it is not possible to schedul a discover SSH in the settings menu. so from the desktop client is not possible to get the same results avoiding (if possible) to go on swagger for example?

From Desktop Client, it will be a one by one task where you can double click on the Linux Asset and go to connections pane then perform a test connection to trigger the SSH Host key prompt and accept.

But the other options I provided are more for a bulk of Linux Assets so you do not have to do one by one.

If you have a list of all the Linux asset names that need this then I would suggest  to use the PowerShell option B.
