Hi Tawfiq,

I saw the document posted on the support site. Service accounts are uppercase and managed accounts are lowercase.

After confirming the password, you will see a message related to special character support.

i would appreciate it if you could advice if changing to the same uppercase can solve the problem.

Yes please change the managed accounts usernames to upper case as well and test if the issue is resolved.

Hi Tawfiq,

If you change the managed accounts to upper case and then change the password, the message "New password contains the following invalid characters" appears. Are there any characters or special characters that the Oracle system does not recognize?

Hi Jaeil,

Yes some special characters may not be supported by target Oracle Systems, the account password rule can be configured to allow or disallow the following symbols:

allowable special characters, such as: ~!@#$%^*()_+-=;'?/\|><.,`[]{}.
