SPS plugin

a customer has a very old version of SPS and we need to upgrade it. They have an old plugin named "OATH_OTP_AA_Plugin" (just to be more clear this is the -AA plugin for SCB for two-factor authentication using One Time Passwords-) and they use it for authentication for RDP and SSH session. Which is the new version of that plugin in github (because i cannot find a new version of it). Thanks a lot!

  • ok Tawfiw thank you.

Just a last doubt so i have to be more precise: considering that they use the microsoft authenticator for the second authentication factor, does this plugin replace the old plugin? so is it sufficient to load it into SPS and make the same configurations as with the old plugin? then configure for each user their own "OTP" in the credential stores section? then each user requesting a session can have the second authentication factor that they can provide with microsoft authenticator? and all this is possible and provided with this new RADIUS plugin? i hope i have been clear. thank you very much

  • Hi Dario,

The old plugin may have been a custom AA plugin as it is not listed on our portal, However, the Radius plugin that I mentioned can be used to communicate with a Radius Server that provides 2FA via a Radius Server such as One Identity Defender for example which also supports Ms Authenticator tokens.

I suggest to consult with Professional Services team for the implementation of the new plugin in case you need something customized so that it can be tested successfully for what the customer's use case requires.

    Thanks!
