SSL certificate not secure on SPS web

Hi,

I installed the server SSL certificate under Basic settings -> Management. I uploaded the Server certificate, Server key, and root CA certificate. Now, the problem is that the certificate shows that is not secure. When inspecting the certificate, I see that the chain is not showing. I even added a trust store and added the root CA certificate to it.

Do you have any idea why the SSL still shows as not secure?

Thanks,

Ahmed

  • Thank you for your reply.

I was able to solve the problem. The solution was to create a CSR with alternative name of DNS and IP of the fqdn and IP address of the SPS server. Other than that, it was always giving 'insecure'. Creating a CSR with the fqdn in the CN is not enough for the SPS to recognize the certificate.

Hope this helps anyone facing the same issue.

    Best regards,
