Hi,
There is no option in the Web UI to export passwords in bulk,
Passwords can be released either via an Access Request policy granting the user access to each password
Or
via configuring an A2A credential retrieval which requires a Certificate user that will connect from a custom script and use an API key per account to retrieve the credentials.
Thanks!
Thank you Tawfiq.
Could you check and share if we have any powershell script to get the passwords of all the service accounts.
Hi,
If you need assistance with creating a script, I would suggest consulting with One Identity Professional services team by discussing further with your account manager.
Thanks!
Thanks Tawfiq. One more clarification please. we have more than 1000 service accounts imported from Active directory to SPP. each account has a different owner. If we need to give the access to the users to get the password of their respective service accounts do we need to import all the users into SPP and provide them User or Helpdesk permissions. what is the best approach to achieve this.
Hi,
Users do not need to have any admin permissions but rather the users need to be assigned to an Entitlement that has an Access Request Policy which grants access to the Passwords of the accounts defined in the scope of the Access request policy.
Thanks!
