    the error "Could not determine the IP address of system" is pointing to a possibly a DNS issue where SPP is unable to resolve the network address of that system.

    You can verify if the network address specified in the connection tab of the asset is valid a nd if using a FQDN hostname then verify using Appliance Management > Appliance > Network Diagnostics > NSLookup and try to resolve the hostname. if this fails then it points to a DNS issue.
