Enterprise IT environments can be extremely heterogenous comprised of technologies from legacy to cutting edge, but they all have one thing in common: they all have privileged accounts that need to be protected. Given this level of diversity, it is impossible to find a single PAM solution that supports every system out-of-the-box. That's why it's imperative to pick a platform that provides users with the flexibility to define how natively not-supported assets should be managed.
