If I have an approval or attestation workflow in which an approval step has an escalation step in which it returns to an earlier workflow(like a calculated decision to re-check values), if the workflow times out and executes the escalation path, if it ever returns to the original workflow that escalated, there is no time-out wait time, it immediately escalates again.

The idea is that after remediation, the owner check is re-run, and if the remediation team fails to act within the timeout, it falls back and reruns the check and bugs the team again.
What steps can be added to reset the timeout wait time if it returns to the workflow?
